I'm home now.
I miss Maddie all the time.
And i get pretty sooky.
But i get to jam and write and be with Jaybot, Lelo and Magic.
We jammed today in my bedroom.
Jordan used my organ
Liam played my terrible aria (it has only 4 strings, none in tune)
I played my radocaster (it is missing a string and is tuned weirdly)
and we sounded great.
Its in A flat or something crazy because our guitars are so detuned.
Jordan got the most magic tones out of the organ,
so now we have to ship it out of my room and all the way to damo's.
And then to the Home for the gig next week.
It's worth it though.
The song we started isn't quite finished but i really like it.
It sounds like newer Ian.
I like playing guitar on it too.
It doesn't need bass because of Jordan and the Organ.
It's all rather bitter sweet
i get my friends and i get to write again
but i don't get to be with her.
but it's only about 5 days now.
and then i'll bring her back with me.
And then i might stay down the coast with her ove rthe second part of the holidays if she has to work, i'm not going to be away from her for this long if i can help it.
It helps when she messages, she's delightful in some of those.
Anyway, i'm in Wagga.
Gold Fishes
fish bowl
filling up slow
the lounge room is floating
the three seater
the two seater
the chesterfield
and recliner
are our life boats
we sit, my sister
with the tv on
watching for the news
watching for the news
they never mention us
they never mention us
we can see through our windows.
we can see through the fish bowl.
the day our father left
my mother wept
and now our feet are wet
our shoes and socks are soaking
she swims across to change the channel
watching for the news
they never mention us

First night for about a week and a half that I haven't spent tangled up with Maddie.
Had to learn how to speak like a scotsman.
It's all a bit gloomy.
If my printer was good
and filled with ink
I would print pictures to line my walls
cover the peach colour they are now,
that peach glow, sickly under the dim lights.
I'm sooky.

These are some friends of mine
and i suppose this is their new work in progress.
They've worked on Kasper Hauser before with Chris Ryan
and now they're extending it.
I'm going to check it out maybe sunday night
or saturday night if bump in for europe is going to take too long.
Watch out for them.
