HOW DID YOU EVER FIND THEM?

Hello, music lovers! I've created the latest music-sharing post over at [info]sexy_mood_music. You don't have to join to contribute links because the post will be left open all month till the next one goes up. However, you're more than free to join and have a look around at the other stuff offered at the comm, including all manner of graphics. This month's theme is "In The Beginning..." Throughout January, we'll gather together the songs that made us first fall in love with a musician or band. It'll be interesting to see who fell in love with a music artist at the start of their careers and who's late on the bandwagon or love train! As always, all genres of music are encouraged, and we look forward to hearing whatever you've got to give!

[Remember to change 'hxxp' to 'http' for each link!]

Here's what I uploaded for January's entry:
Eric Hutchinson - Breakdown More
Feist - Let it Die
Nat King Cole - Mona Lisa
Rooney - Blue Side
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps

If you find yourself at the crossroads of insomnia and insanity, this is the place to channel those demons that keep you sleepless. Vivid pictures, poetry, ruminations, and confessions from the nether hours between dusk and dawn. Originally formed to celebrate the city at night, there's a strong urban theme.

Self-described as "a little community with a lot of rage," you can soak up impassioned vibes and read blistering exposes detailing sexist attitudes in the news, pop culture, and science! A must-join community if you are, or love, a feminist. (NB: the topic of whether a "man" can be a feminist is outside the scope of this spotlight, but will probably wind up on the Writer's Block.)

Download the AAC file here. It contains album artwork and chapters for each song for your iPod or Zune player. Just make a playlist and drag the file in. I can't figure out how to make iTunes recognize it as a podcast. Can someone help me with that??

The aim of this podcast is to highlight my favorite music of 2009. I did it again, track 09 is from 2008. Track 35 is technically from 2008 but it was released in the US in 2009.

Thank you for listening.
Share this podcast if you can. Leave comments here. I want to hear from you! Happy New Year!
BTW, how do you do a LJ cut?

a love story

So its not the usual start but the guy i am tentatively involved with I met in a psychiatric facility... so I need some tunes. I love Bob Dylan and Cohen and those raspy folk voices, but I also love shit that has never been heard and fast tempos.

So i need some songs about falling for a psychiatric patient/being one, also he is a recovering drug addict (but really, the "relationship" is great). We aren't dating until he has been sober for 3 months and we are both stabilized on our medication.

So... what do you have?

BITCH.

Making a mix titled "Bitch".
I'd like to put something a little more indie/acoustic/alternative than "Yaaa Bitch!" by Soulja Boy, though it makes me laugh to no end.
Doesn't necessarily have to have the word 'bitch' in the title. Thank you all. (: <3

So far:
Bitch - Alanis Morrisette
Bitches ain't shit (Dr.Dre cover) - Ben Folds
Bitch - The Plastiscines

Possibly:
I'm in Miami Bitch - LMFAO
Crazy Bitch - Buckcherry
